Birthdays!!!
August is my birthday month; yes, I celebrate the whole month, because birthdays are fun.
No I don’t discuss numbers, but think about it, isn’t it fun to feel special and have a reason to celebrate something? The mad hatter had it right to have un-birthday parties.
What are you celebrating these days? When I work with clients who are dealing with change be it large or small, I encourage them to celebrate every success.
- We made it to Friday without a meltdown.
- We found the solution.
- We easily paid more bills
- We got a new client
- We had no complaints
- An invoice was paid to us on time
- We figured out how to use the new program.
You get the idea. When you begin to celebrate and recognize even small moments you find more special moments and more reasons to celebrate. Now you understand why I celebrate the month. It gives me a reason to get together with friends although why I need one is a topic for another blog.
So join me in my birthday month and let’s just celebrate all our successes no matter the size.
